Great Cotter Duck Race

It is that time of the year again. The White River Lions Club is proud to sponsor the Fifth Annual Great Cotter Duck Race. Ducks will be $1.00 each or 6 ducks for only $5.00 and prizes for the event will be 1st place $300.00 2nd place is $200 and 3rd place will be $100. This event is help raise money for The White River Lions Club to give back to people in need with hearing and vision problems that can not afford to buy new glasses or hearing aids. Bridge Bash 2014 - Food Bank of NCA

at Cotter's Rainbow Bridge & Big Spring Park

PROVIDING 500,000 MEALS

 

Bridge Bash will once again be located in the beautiful town of Cotter, Arkansas.  There you will find a community rich with history, craftsmanship, natural resources, and a trout population that has brought them national attention.  So while you are enjoying Bridge Bash take time to seek out these local treasures and enjoy them for yourself. 

Local businesses, civic organizations, musicians and artisans will fill the park with vendor booths, entertainment, activities, and displays. Between stage performances, the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas and our hunger relief organizations will share success stories, hunger statistics, hopes and dreams for our respective organizations and communities.

By Standing Up for Hope on September 20th you will be encouraging and strengthening the hunger relief agencies, civic organizations, churches and schools that provide emergency food to your hungry neighbors throughout the year.

General Membership Meeting Gassville Community Center ~ 8:00AM

Join us every 3rd Tuesday of the month for breakfast as the Cotter~Gassville Chamber of Commerce holds a general session meeting to discuss upcoming events and activities that pertain to the Cotter and Gassville areas.  Come and enjoy breakfast and spend time getting to know other business owners in and around the area.  Each meeting has time allotted for speakers and some of our members to share about their companies.  Contact us if you would like to reserve your business as the guest speaker for the next chamber meeting spot available.  Our meetings all have the same focus which is to make the towns of Cotter and Gassville as well as our towns' festivals and events the best they possibly can be.

13th Annual Gassville in the Park Festival

Saturday, June 6th, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

In Gassville City Park located on Hwy 345 South

Events Include:

  • 5 K Run/1 Mile Fun Walk
  • Parade at 10:00 a.m.
  • Burgers, Hot Dogs, and the fixings along with Ice Cream, Funnel Cakes, and Sno-Cones
  • Musical Entertainment 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. by Crossfire, The High Strung Band and Southern Faith
  • Car Show and Automotive Swap Meet
  • 100 plus Vendors and Displays including: Arts, Crafts, Antiques and Collectible Booths, Local Authors, National Guard Game Area, D.A.R.E. Truck, Home Depot Kids Building Project, and
  • Co-Ed Softball Game
