Kick Off Party - 15th Annual Cotter Trout Festival

 

Trout Festival Kick-Off Party – Friday, May 6th – Tickets are $15.  – Reserve yours now.

Party theme --  “An Old-Fashioned White River Shore Lunch” by Mikal Mershon and Friends 

Two  4 oz.  American  Catfish  Filets,  hush  Puppies,  fried potatoes, corn  on  the  cob,  apple  cobbler,  appetizers  and  beverages too...

 

Music by Cutthroat Trout – “Gypsy Jazz” Band.

Purchase tickets at Natural State Fly Shop (across from White Sands Café), Cotter Trout Dock,  Warrior Station, First Security Bank in Gassville, Ozark Mountain Traders (downtown Cotter), Century 21 in Mountain Home, Dally's Fly Shop, and Duane Hada’s Rivertown Gallery.

15th Annual Cotter Trout Festival

The Cotter Trout Festival is always a sure bet when it comes to fun, food, appealing music and entertainment.   The Festival is held in Big Spring Park and allows an opportunity for Cotter citizens and the surrounding region to come and enjoy a fun filled day along the White River.

15th Annual Cotter Trout Festival

 

Love a Parade!!

Plan to join folks from around the area for the 15th Annual Cotter Trout Festival Parade.  Saturday, May 7. “All About Trout” is the theme and everyone is invited.  Bike, March, drive…bring your favorite banner, pet, clown or beauty queen.   Lineup at 8:15 a.m. at the Snappy Mart at the top of Harding Blvd to be in the parade.

Parade starts at 9 a.m.

Kindness, Inc. - 10th Annual Golf Tournament

 

Kindness, Inc. is gearing up for their 10th Annual Benefit Golf Tournament.  Our date to play this year is Saturday, June 18 at the Twin Lakes Golf Course.  In 2015 the funds raised helped Kindness, Inc. to build 20 wheelchair ramps and install 81 grab bars.  Our volunteers drove 38,200 miles, servicing 4,257 hours while helping 287 clients with 2,093 appointments or personal trips for shopping.  Thanks to the generous support of our partners in the Twin Lakes community and our dedicated volunteers, our clients continue living independently in their own homes.

50th Annual Invitational Boy Scouts Of America
White River Canoe Race

 

The 50th Annual Invitational National Championship Boy Scouts of America White River Canoe Race will be visiting Cotter the morning of July 28th, 2016.

Join us for the fun.  They arrive at the Cotter Ramp in Big Spring Park in the morning to replace relay canoers and the Chamber provides water, watermelon, bananas and more.

 

Race events start at Bull Shoals Dam on Wednesday, July 27th  and end in Batesville, AR on Sunday, July 31st.  See the attachment below for more information on the BSA Race.
